New guy needs help with posting and uploading photos

Hello, I have been lurking for some time on giants, and have finally decided to contribute some photos and tips from my latest project. [ a 43% PAU Edge 540].

I wrote about twenty lines of text three times and each time the screen blinked and I was back to the thread with no sign of my work any where. Is there a time limit? Is there a length limit?

I also tried to post some photos, and it asked for the URL. I really don't quiet know how to get that information.

I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Dale

Click on the "post reply" button - don't use the quick reply field.
on the reply page, about half way down, there is a button that says "manage attachments". Click on that and a new window will pop up. You will see a bunch of empty fields with "browse" buttons next to them. Click one, go to the folder that has the pic you want to upload and double-click on the pic. Once you've selected all the pics, click "upload".
If they don't upload, you will at least get an error message. The most common error message is that the file size is too large, or that the actual picture size is too large. If you get those errors, you will have to edit your pics from your ciomputer to get the file/pixel size within limits.

Worked like a charm. I had taken the photos in S format so they sailed right through. Many thanks.
