I have decided to go for an EME 35 AS on my H9 1/4 scale Cub. Maybe a little extra power is ok if one decides to try floats?

I have an antique Sig J3, with an Enya R120 on the nose. Havent flown it yet, but when I do, I plan on flying it with floats, ALOT!!
This Cub has a 105" wing too, and all covered in fabric.

I built a1/4 scale Sig kit and weighs 20lbs, had Dle20 and was to underpowered. Replaced with a RCGF 30cc twin, very light and compact. Great engine and very smooth and flys great.
Recommended this engine as well priced,also swing a larger prop 18x10 which is great.

I used the 35ra because it fits fully in cowl so we could scale out the plane. Also we did a full cocpit and needed the nose weight. Unlimited power, no. But sounds great and swings a big pretty prop

Im building the Sig 1/4 scale clipped wing and have a dle 35ra im gonna mount on it. How far back did you have to move your firewall? Do you happen to have anynpictures from when you mounted your engine?

I flew my Sig 1/4 Cub (standard wing) with an OS -160 twin. Very scale-like performance.
