long story short.

Trex 700n. has 2 pushrod supports for tail boom.

needed obviously at least 1 or 2 more ?

ordered a replacement set of 4. but it was the ones for the CF pushrod. so the whole for the pushrod is too big.

can I still use 2 of them or so say in the middle of the two proper ones to allow it to still move without binding / vibration to much?

or am I sol and have to find the right ones?? everything is either out of stock or hard to find the ones for the 700/600n
or only for the CF pushrod. I also couldn't even find that one I'd probably order the CF pushrod.

Are you saying you want to use a total of 4 pushrod guides? Im a bit confused by the wording of your question. 2 guides are plenty in my opinion.

The tail boom on a 700 is the same diameter as the 600 and 550 if I remember correctly. I dont recall if the pushrod used on the 700 is a bigger diameter but if its not you could try to find the guides from one of the smaller models that share the same diameter boom.

Is it a wire or CF pushrod? The 700n DFC CF pushrod only uses 1 support..


I was skeptical at first but have now run one this way for 3 years with zero issues (700n gasoline conversion)




For a wire pushrod I would feel safe with at 2-3, unevenly spaced, same as for TT bearings....
