I've used both abd they bothedbfoamed up. I haven't noticed a difference.

Poly u glue is a fantastic choice. Roll it on the foam with a foam roller until ONLY a sheen is visible by holding the core up to a light. Mist the skins lightly with water and assemble cores, skins and shucks. Place the assemblage between sheets of mdf and clamp. You will not believe how strong of a bond will occur. All proponents of other methods will change their tune if they test this method. The glue will expand into the foam and there is zero weight gain.
