So I changed out rudder servo with an older hitec i had laying around. It isnt twitching anymore..
So thats two identical servos doing the same thing,?? All servos on plane are PowerHd. All are high voltage digital, r25's., except for rudder which is a b3 brushless,. Did I just have two faulty servos???. or could there be something else going on thats only affecting the brushless servo??
Im more than confused at this point. Im not sure if that hitec was hv or not?

What number servo is it? Most older hitecs were not HV compatible. I wish i had an answer on what is going on but i really dont know.. i doubt very much you have 2 bad servos! But i guess anything is possible lol.. well atleast you can fly it now until you figure it out. Just make sure that HiTec is HV compatible if you are running HV.. if it is not it will more than likely burn up on you.

Update

Well..problem fixed. Finally tried hose clamp on plug cap. Twitch gone, removed clamp, twitch came back. Tried few more times, same results.
Cant believe it was that simple. The plug cap never seemed loose to me so I didnt try the clamp. Now I know better. These forums are invaluable. Thanks for everyones suggestions and tips. !
So do I leave clamp on and check it periodically or replace plug cap?
I guess I was on wrong thread also, sorry

The hose clamp is fine.

A few years back, many people complained the caps were almost impossible to put on the first time with the very heavy cap spring they used at the time. As a result, they started putting weaker springs on the caps. Still hard to put on the first time but easier than before. A side effect was that some caps are just not tight enough for a good ground connection on the plug. Another issue is the angles caps like they use on the rear exhaust DLE engines and some others. These are hard to push on the plug straight and I think some people deform the cap in the process and they are never really tight enough on the plug after that. The clamp solves the problem.
