Bisson Muffler Question

Hey guys, I have a BCM pitts muffler on my DA50 that has a crack on the seam of one of the stacks. My questions is what kind of welding needs to be used in order to fix it properly? Mig, Tig?? I don't know which one.

Thanks

Either will work. The hard part is going to be getting that aluminum clean enough for it to be welded. I'm sure there is Carbon seeping into those cracks and any foreign substance will effect how well it can be welded. Take it to a local metal shop and see what they can do for you. They should be able to do it fairly cheap.

Neo Out!!!!!
