luscombe 8 e scratch 25 %

just some pic's of luscombe 8e at 25 %.
i am using metal tape covering balsa.
astro flight monster motor .
wingspan is 122 "
weight will be 18 lbs.

My dad just got done building his hostettler luscomb this fall, We ran out of time to test fly it as the weather here got bad. i will try to get a couple pics of up here .

Very nice. Here is mine with my Uncles F. Scheme will be the same but there are fabric wings on mine. I will be doing a new set of sheeted wings soon. Cutting doors in the fuse now.

beautiful work, both of them.

i owned an 8e back in 82 with a friend that had an 100 hp 0-235 lycoming mod, modified tail incidence and ruder throws, wheel pants to house larger tires and other mods to go with the changes.

this build has most of those changes incorporated into it, thus is somewhat off scale so to speak.

the real truth is you can't beat the real thing !!

Well here is mine ready to start covering. Was a Hostetler plans they are very veg and had to make changes for a better build.
