I lost a dear friend. So sorry for his family. Does anyone know what happened. I talked to him about 2 weeks ago. We always ask about each other's health, said he was doing good. R.I.P. my friend. --- Smitty

This is very sad news indeed. My condolences to his family.
It is small family businesses like his that really make this Giant Scale hobby go round. This will certainly make a very large void in the Giant Scale community. Calm winds and blue skies ahead forever for Richard. |

If anyone would like to help out with some of his expenses (most of you here already have - thank you so much), I've set up a GoFundMe for his family:

He was working outside and collapsed. He was the only home at the time and was found by his wife later that afternoon. Everyone that's seen him lately can tell you, he's been fine, so I really don't know why he collapsed. It's very unexpected and shocking.
