The worst case is that these documents contain evidence that make him Constitutionally ineligible to be President. If this turns out to be true, it will get real ugly.

It appears that Clinton is trying to plug is lack of confidence in Obama...right in front of him and Obama does not even get it. Appearantly Obama does not have much of a handle on the economy. Clinton told Obama supporters this in Florida today...and Obama just smiled gracefully...Clinton may be a sleezeball...but he is so much smoother than Obama.

Re: Out Future III (deleted by mistake)

My Dad told me a story. It seems that when he went to the Naval Academy, he applied under the name he had grown up with. My Grandparents were immigrants from Italy, and did not speak English when they arrived here. When my Dad was born, they gave him the Italian version of his name on his Birth Certificate. During my Fathers first year, the FBI found this mismatch on his documents. They came to the Naval Academy, and removed him from class, confining him to barracks until this inconsistency could be sorted out. This was before computers, so it had taken months to discover the problem in the first place, and a couple of weeks to sort it out. I'm sure these kind of things would be done prior to admission these days.

Now, my Father had just applied to be a Naval Officer. They had a system in place way back then to thoroughly vet an applicant. Obama, is basically applying for the job as Commander in Chief. Yet it appears there is no agency responsible for checking normal documents like Birth Certificates, and College records. Could you imagine applying to be an Officer in the Military, and refusing to show these simple documents. It just wouldn't happen. I just don't get this kind of hole in our nomination process. Again, where is the press on this?

the need to display this constitutionally vital info is paramount in any candidate's situation. your two reasons for not bearing this info are absolutely correct. he his hiding some damaging info.....we just don't know how damaging yet! this WILL be much more of a headache than the 2000 vote recount! this will be a constitutional uprising and an issue that could lead to an attempted overthrow! this needs to be handled right away to avoid any serious consequences!

Many of us did this with the bailout issue. If you look at what most of the Reps said on TV........"even though the resounding response from my constituants (sp?) was to vote NO, I voted yes because I felt it was the right thing to do"

See........just because you vote someone in office doesn't mean they have to do what you the people ask of them. And you cannot be impeached for not following the voters wishes. You can be elected out though in 2-4 yrs.

Good point Sweetpea. But wasn't there a governor in California in recent past who had to endure a special election where he was ousted by the people before his time was up? I seem to recall but not the details. What's wrong with the system is that even if you are voted out of Congress after your first term, you get 100% retirement pay for the duration. I want a 160k job that I can get fired from so I can retire at 160k thereafter. People need to hound these representatives to make the change in the law...put them on social security like the rest of us and watch them squirm.

Here is an interesting page I found. I particularly like the post by....

Scroll down just a little to read it. Very interesting and if true really opens up the can of worms.

Our Future II and Our Future III were accidently deleted by the mods while deleting certain posts in those threads. The mods apologized for it.

Out Future III (deleted by mistake) was the mods way of replacing the Future III thread.

the fact that obama and his followers are preaching socialistic ideals is a blatant slap in the face to all those who have served and been injured or lost their lives in the fight against socialism. several generations of our fine men and women were affected by our nation's effort to diminish socialist regimes all over the globe...now we thank them with federalized programs and wealth redistribution!!!!!!!!

that is CRAZY!!!!!!!
