i CG'd tonight...1 oz. tail heavy at 6.5 inches (1/4 inch short of spec) with 2 "no BS" square battery pacs mounted under the servo tray...I am happy i do not have to move...this will be a good starting point

yES...i did not find a grommet yet but will look this weekend...just wrapped bats and secured them along w ignition... going thru nuts and bolts now...will be ready for test flight!!!!

bradp... check out www.sloair.com. They produce the full scale ships, the Sbach 300 (single seater) and Sbach 342.

Hey Rick I am going with the same set up as you DLE 55 (with can) and Hitec 7955s. Still waiting for the plane. Can you tell me the length of the servo extensions that you used for the Sbach.
rudder: elevators: Wings: Throttle: I want to have all the parts here for when it finally arrives when ever that will be. By the way looks like you did a good job setting her up. Thanks Ken |

I am just a beginner in the sport. So, thanx for the vote of confidence... I used 2-36" on elevators. 2-12" and 2-6" on ailerons. None needed on rudder. None on throttle. Used 2-6" for charge jacks. Keep in mind where I located the rx... I also used a JR R922 rx with olnly power switch for both bats. ( actually only cuts power to rx) hope this helps and send pics as you can!!!

I get my sbach 342 50c.c about month ago....And start install last weekend....Almost done now.What I impressive is the plane is very light with 3mm 53 engine The flying weight is about 7KG!!!
This plane will fly like dream!!!!!!! |
