Hi guys,

So its been a while since i've been on here. I recently moved to austin and was wondering if there's any fellow pattern pilots around? Are there many competitions around here?

I don't have a plane with me at the moment and am in the market for a plane to keep the thumbs going.

So if there are any pilots around do drop me a message or reply to the thread and let me know if there are any planes up for grabs at the moment.

Not sure about pattern but there is a nice RC club in Austin. Website is austinrc.org

Space City R/C http://www.spacecityrc.com/is closer on the west side of Houston, but it's not terribly far from Austin. There is a large pattern contingent there, and they have an annual pattern competition in the fall.

Fred, my name is Gary. Do I know you?...I fly at both the Old Settlers Park field in Round Rock, and the ARCA field off Decker Lane in Austin. We have 3 or 4 regulars in the Austin area that fly competition in NSRCA District 6. There is a contest right here in Austin, March 19th and 20th.
