BUSA Fokker DVll

I might be old, but I"m slow. Just started to build a Fokker D7 by Balsa USA. Wondering what folks are using for power? any suggestions will be appreciated. It took me two years to build their Super Cub {1/3 scale}. Shooting for 1 year on this one. Thanks Nick

35 to 40cc gas works best on the d7 if you are building the 1/4 scale model
85 to 100 on the 1/3 scale

Thanks. The nose area is only 9.25 inches wide so I have decided on the dle 85. Thanks for the response. Nick

1/3 scale uses the 85, I'm building a 1/4 scale with a Saito 2.20, most guys use a G-38 in them.

I have a DLE 55RA in mine with a modified silencer with only one outlet.

It works a treat with a scale WW1 prop on.

Its overpowered and goes everywhere at 1/2 throttle but its nice to have the power if you need it.

An 85 would be way way over the top to be honest, but if it suits you, why not.

Charlie

1/4 Scale - G-38/30cc gas
1/3 Scale - 85cc or gear reduced G-62.

We've got a pile of them at our field and those are the majority of the setups.
