I just ordered mine from Andy.

I chose the Yellow / Black Chequer scheme with this slight modification. I switched the Yellow to a "Cub or Safety Yellow" as I find this color the best for my tired eyes to pick out in a hazy sky. The attached picture is the yellow I picked.

I also like the all black bottom, especially around the landing gear, it will make it easy to match the color if any minor repairs are needed.

I'm looking for some ideas on improving the looks of the rudder side view, It just seems to be a bit stark to me.

Any idea of some graphics that I can add?

I have a chance to get some very nice BLING Wheels and want to get the correct diameter and thickness.

I think 5" would probably be the recommended wheel size. I'm going to be trying the Pilot 4.8" wheels.

Only 3.8 ounces per wheel. It fits a 3/16" axle.

Whoops. Sorry, Bam. I was thinking this was the 122" thread. I just realized we were in the 102" thread.

The 102" Extra 330SC is a brand new design, so I don't know what the status of the manual is.

The Pilot wheels would still be a good choice. I would suggest their 4" wheel. 1.6 ounces each. Wow!!

I've fitted 4.5" wheels on my 2.6, it could take 5's as well if you wanted. The wheel pants are pretty big, so I'd not go smaller than 4.5".

Great, I found some really nice 5 inch BLING wheels that I can get at about 1/2 price.

Andrew, where is the CG for starting off at?

I've not finished the 2.6 yet but from experience with my 3m version, I'm going to start at the front edge of the wing tube with the wings off.

The Spats are the same as the 3m, so really 5" wheels are perfect, spat-ground clearance on 4.5" wheels is quite small, we will see how Andrew's stand up.
Magic numbers are spinner is 5" Motor dome fire wall to spinner back plate 178mm

My Valach Motor 120cc 4 Storke arrived today.

Unfortunately it looks too good so I plan to mount it in a picture frame.

From what I've read it's going to be a very tight squeeze to mount the motor to the firewall. Until I get the fuselage here (11 weeks away) I'm going to just ponder how much of the firewall that I will have to carve away.

The carb will be DEFINETY be inside the fusealage.

Andrew did you have to cut off the FIREWALL and move it back?

No, I've not needed to cut the firewall at all. The 3w 110 is long so we actually pulled the hub off and machined 5mm off it to to get the spacing correct.
