I can't pull more than about 35 amps with this ESC.
Put a JETI ESC on and can pull over 50 amps. any ideas...

Do you have a castle link? Sometimes factory defaults aren't.... You could have the throttle in manual calibrate, the frequency selected incorrectly, or it in manual cell select so it thinks it is in cutoff right off the bat... Does it count the cells correctly at initialization? I had one that worked perfect till a buddy updated it on his castle link. It was hosed then. I got my own castle link, updated it and reprogrammed it again and it started to work good again. Check to make sure you have good solder joints on the bullets to the motor?

I would change it to manual calibration and calibrate it to your transmitter. Do a Google search for how to do it with you transmitter if you have not done it before. One of the issues with Castles auto-calibration routine is you need to got to full throttle for 3 to 4 seconds every time you plug in a battery. If you don't it may not see full throttle.

Do not use auto Calibrate. Use fixed end points.
