What happnend?

Our acommodation was about 50km away from the strip. Sarge left first by about 15mins. Me and Alex left second and came across Sarge no far from where we stayed. It looked like the fine shingle got the better of him :-( My guess is that he put his foot down a little bit too much as it was up hill at that point, wheels spun, car stepped out and he tried to correct BUT slammed the brakes on aswel. If you look at the road in the pics you can see the reasonably short tyre marks.
2 fence posts, broken steering arm and a long wait was the result.

driving school

From where I was standing it looked like "lad in new car, never been on gravel syndrome". Used to see it quite a bit when I lived up there, and it is 54 k's from the farm to Dunedin so more like 30 (20ish of that is gravel) to field. I would have thought you could hold it together for that long!. Maybe a little bit of the night before "Hung Over" until the morning.

ANYWAY...
