I'd like to see a 35 thats been almost maxed out for power but still reliable, something similar to an MX bike. There is no reason they cant produce efficient power similar to a 45cc and there are so many 35 size engines out there to choose from this size engine needs to be special or it becomes just another choice. For me that size engine and airframe is perfect for getting a little crazy without worrying about losing too much money if it goes wrong.

You can always convert to single bolt by bolting a al7075 conversion adapter on.

Thats right Pe. GP could do an optional single bolt hub to be fitted by the owner or the factory without having to change the engines crank design. Everyones happy. If it incorporates the hub the engines length remains the same with either system. Could even be a possible money earner for someone that has the tools and machinery to make adapters for all the popular engine sizes like the Vess balance ring

Yeah I don't think Fergus or the other guy (sorry forgot the name) meant that its technically not possoble just that for their current production plan they have not catered for the idea.
I'm sure they will look into it and incorporate something down the line.

I doubt that. There are things like common practice and acceptance to think about. (sorry Ralph). The best solution almost never wins.

If the single bolt hubs are so safe.. ..Why did my single bolt BME 110 throw a prop then?

Because it will not necessarily just fasten itself more when slipping.. I was running up my engine on the ground, when I heard the prop beginning to slip (sounded like a out of sync twin engine plane) and throttled back and the prop flew to heII. The inertia of the prop/washer/nut screwed itself off when the rpm on the engine went down.

It probably wont happen every time, but saying it will never happen is wrong.

My BME110 now has a 6 (7) bolt hub, and donīt throw props anymore.

Just go with the multi hubs on the GPīs and never look back!
