DLE 111 V1

Hi all, I have had this engine for quite some time. I'm thinking about using and would like to know if any of the parts from the later versions will work on it?

Pistons and cylinders will interchange but later versions were improved quite a bit. Overall the later engines were much improved. If I had a V1 engine Id probably try to sell it for what I could get out of it and buy a later version. I think the enjoyment of the later version would outweigh the financial loss.

Is his true? Reason I ask is I have a v1 that overheated and needs a new piston/cylinder. I thought I was stuck with a paper weight

I guess the biggest thing would be the head. I don't even remember how I got it, or even know if it runs. I'm going to order a prop for it and see if it runs before I make any decisions on it.

Yep you should be able to Convert pistons and heads to the 111 cc motor. As i think stoke is the same just piston diameter increased.

Yep give it a run first.
