i had a 7955 locking over to one side and figured out it was the extension. try plugging it into the receiver without an extension and see what it does.

More than enough power. I am using LiFe for power.

On my last outing I actually had one unplug from the lead out of the receiver.
My own fault, I didn't have a clip to lock it in.

Anyway. The plane continued to fly. I had noticed that the roll rate slowed a bit. Then I tried a couple snaps. They were slow and mushy. I did a low fly by and rocked the plane back and forth and noticed one aileron wasn't working. So I landed and thats when I discovered one side unplugged.
But yeah, 1256's , 1 per aileron on a 50cc is good. 2 on a 35% is good
Good to hear B. Maybe the 1256's will be adequate for my profile as well.

The BLS-157 is brushless, holds the advertised torque, uses less power and several friend's personal experience, as well as the conversation I had at Futaba's booth convinced me. In addition, the response I got at the WRAM show from the guy at the Hitec booth who said he was MM's boss. I told him politely, quietly, the 7950 firmware did not work and he was had an attitude of oh well, too bad, they worked in our lab test. Then I asked him when the brushless Hitecs were coming out (when did they first talk about them?), and he said they were "being tested". I am not one to jump on this bandwagon, but I felt I was being blown off. I have no issues with the -65MG's for foamies and 5665 for smaller planes, but on my next plane, I will use something other than Hitec.

No, not really, it is just a servo and that is my nature. I own my own company and I realize that issues can occur. People usually know that and evaluate you on how you deal with the problem more that the problem itself. With the 79xx and A9, Hitec has had an epic fail.

To be fair (I have spoke out loud against Hitec's poor choice(s) with respect to the G2 circuitry), not all of Hitec's ideas are an epic fail...the only issue I have with Hitec is their G2 circuitry servos.

Just saying
