Prop holes

I searched the forum for an answer to this, but didn't find anything.

I've been out of the hobby for a few years and just getting back into it.

I found the prop on my G38 had a crack in the tip. I ordered a new prop for it, but the hole size is larger than the bolt. Is there an adapter I should get or should I locate another prop?

I always used a Menz Ultra 18x10 but wanted to try a Xoar 19x8. I didn't know the hole size would be different.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Jim

Re: Prop holes

If it's only slightly bigger I use a couple of wraps of tape around the prop shaft.

I understand that you have been out of the hobby for a while but, I have a drawer with extra bronze bushings that come with aluminum spinners. If you have an extra bushing laying around, you may find one that will slide onto your prop shaft and, then slide in your prop. The bushing will fill the gap. if you don't have one, just go to your LHS and, they will usually have one laying around.
