Starting to add cooling louvers. I will prime and paint them white after final mounting so I don’t end up with silver screws. Next is to cutout the openings and add a frame inside the cowl to stiffen the fiberglass opening and a base for nuts. I plan on using 2K clear but because it doesn’t have a long shelf life after activating I plan on painting the control horns and louvers all at the same time.

DA120 Throttle Arm Flip Kit

anybody trying this on their M120? Maybe the servo mounted inside the engine box and just the servo arm sticking out through the servo opening? Sure wish someone, especially DA, would make a DA120 throttle arm flip kit like they do for the DA70.

I don't have an exact weight of mine because I have the most inconsistent scales known to man, but mine is around 32-33# with smoke. I think the manual says it should be about 29 with standard equipment.

Still has vertical for days with a full fluid load on da120.

Maybe someone else has better performing scales.

I got 6 flights in yesterday in high winds. She handles like an absolute dream in the conditions. Inverted flight performance is rock solid. I just need to practice so my skill level can match the planes abilities.

Still dialing in the smoke system, but got super thick white clouds above half throttle. I think I nailed the injector nozzle placement.

I’d like them to look like rivets and the louvers not look like addon bling. It all adds to the illusion of scale. It sure would save time to paint the louvers then install vs install then paint but the end result looks like the vision.
