Type of covering used on Skyline planes
Can anyone please tell me the brand of covering used on the Skyline models. It would be a great help if someone could tell me the names of the colours used on the Matt Hall MX-R 30cc plane. thanks.

I have a Skyline Sbach 70 and a bunch of rolls of those cheap covering films from HK. The black and red match perfectly on my plane but I'm not so sure about the white. Maybe because it is a bit transparent and the color changes when applied over balsa.
Skyline is a Chinese manufacturer so there is a good chance they use the same cheap film. You may contact them and confirm http://skyline-rc.com/ If you don't get an answer, for $9 I would take the risk and order one or 2 rolls http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store..._5mtr_104.html http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store..._5mtr_107.html |

I don't know which plane is yours. But Skyline, Goldwing, ... if plane's specs says "Oracover" means Ultracote (in north America) and its made is Germany! And if it says nothing, means Chinese covering. I have a Skyline 50cc Extra 260 which is Oracover.
