Well guys since these are on their way to many of you I thought we would start a build/discussion thread on them. I just finished unpacking mine and I'll have pics up soon.

Well I thought I would put up a few pictures of some of the hardware we include. First up: The 42% 260 comes with high quality true carbon fiber tubes and our custom tailwheel!

Mounting your motor and cutting your cowl will never be easier! The supplied engine templets fit many of the popular motors on the market today! And with the cowl cutting templates there is no more nervousness when cutting your cowl, two templates are provided one for mufflers and another for cannisters/pipes!

I like to get the plane up on its gear as it makes it easier for me to work on it. This entire process took maybe 15 Minutes and went on without a hitch! The wheels supplyed are good quality and have proven to work well on any runway. No drilling or lineing up here just bolt the pants on and your done!

Here are a couple of pics showing the massive radio compartment! Notice the nuemerous mounting locations for your batteries and reciever(s). Also shown is the carbon fiber phenolic this is installed in the wings fuse and stabs! No cheap cardboard tubes here.

Re: 42% Extra 260 Build

Next up, I installed the brand new DA 150, this couldn't have been made more simple since the drilling templates and standoffs are included. Just bolt the motor on and go! This may have taken 20 minutes and most of that time was spent on installing the bolts and standoffs. I also covered my firewall with some carbon fiber ultracote for added bling. The Firewall/Motorbox comes built as you see it and fuelproofed from the factory.

Re: 42% Extra 260 Build

I installed the cowl to check the fit of the motor and was pleased to see it was perfect! I used 2 of the supplyed standoffs per bolt and this provided the proper spacing for the DA. Also check out the PREINSTALLED engine baffeling. This lines up perfect and should provide excellent cooling for the DA.

Re: 42% Extra 260 Build

I installed the included carbon tailwheel. This was made very easy since both the wheel assembly and plane are predrilled for the included screws. These carbon tailwheels have worked very well on all of the planes and are amongst the lightest on the market today!

As with all of the Aeroworks planes custom wingbags are avalible. These are of great quality and provide great protection for both your wings and stabs.
