Looking for 3-D Airplane for DLE 35RA, with Standard Muffler

I am looking for a 3-D Airplane for my DLE 35RA (Bowman Ring) with Standard Muffler. I am considering the following. Any comments would be appreciated.

E.F. 74" Laser

3DHS 75" Extra 330 LT.

Thanks

Consider the 73" AJ Aircraft Laser 230z. It is an outstanding platform for that setup.

Have you flown the 73" with a gas engine?

EF 78" Extra and Falcon 20 x 6 CF prop. I have this exact combo with a DLE 35 RA and it is a real blast!

I was concerned that the bigger 78" might be to large or heavy. I am glad it is working well for you. I know it is a great airplane.

Again, you are using a stock muffler on the DLE 35?

I have, with a DA35. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.

I'll second the AJ Laser 230z 73" for the DLE 35ra engine. It was designed around this engine.

Thanks Warwix

I have a couple questions.

1. Is it a good Low and Slow 3-D Airplane ? I would think since AJ is a pattern Flyer, it would be good at precision.

2. A good tumbling airplane for it size?

3. Any modifications needed for the cowl when running gas?

Thanks,

Ed

Ef 74" edge is awesome. Would be perfect with that engine.

E.F. 74" Laser

3DHS 75" Extra 330 LT.

Thanks
two amazingly capable airplanes right there, and your engine choice is perfect. the Extra is a smidge lighter, but either way both airplanes will bring the grins!

The 3DHS 330LT Extra is possibly my favorite plane of all time. haven't had the chance to fly that size EF Laser as yet though...

Yep stock muffler - goes like a rocket - the 78 is light and the larger wing area makes it very "floaty" and responsive. Any of the airframes being listed here would do the trick for you. In my experience the prop is the key thing with extracting the juice out of the DLE 35 RA....

The AJ aircraft lazer 73 is a great 3D plane loves the tumbles, knife edge spins and its rock solid slow. Plenty of throws, I love my 73. There is no mods needed for the cowl I mean a small cut out on the bottom for the muffler and opening a little for cooling. It by far is the best flying plane out there.
If your interested call Tim at AJ aircraft, or I can answer any questions you have I would be glad to chat with you

let's get all the team pilots to line up on either side of the square, choose the weapons, and then have it out... whoever wins informs the internet poster as to which airframe he's going to own

There are many good choices out there for sure!

Don't overlook the offerings from PAU.
