2017 AMA Expo West - Photos From the Floor

Reviewer Mike McDougall was on the ground in Ontario California for the 2017 AMA Expo. Let's take a look at all the photos from this three day showing of R/C force!

Greetings From the Ontario Convention Center

AMA Expo West 2017 is in the books! There was a great showing this year of RC manufacturers and retailers, with plenty of new model eye-candy to feast the eyes upon. Reviewer Mike McDougall (kingsflyer) was in attendance and provided us with plenty of photos from booths, the judging tables, general floor shots, and the demo flying sessions.

Take a look at the products on display from vendors below, and the rest of the photos as well!

I'm still on the long haul home but wanted to express my gratitude to everyone that came out and supported both Northwest RC and all the other vendors at the 2017 AMA show in Ontario, CA. Without YOU there is no show, no vendors, and no one central event to show all the new and exciting things our hobby is evolving towards but still has to offer.

Keep spreading the word, keep spreading the love, and looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!!

I wish I knew. They looked almost real hanging from the Expo ceiling.

As for the turnout, it was so crowded in the Swap Shop they had to limit the number of folks that were allowed in at a time.

I think the AMA set it up. It was next to the make and take area. Kids built gliders and could take them home.

In the flying demo room, there was an area for kids to try their hand at flying an electric control line plane.

The GeeBees are old Fiberclassics airframes. One has a DA150 and one has a Evolution radial. Owned by Steve Parola of Hobby Club USA. They are very big, beautiful airplanes. We hung them along with all the other planes.

I saw that Cheng Yang RC had a booth, toward the northwest corner. But I neglected to get a card. Do they have a US distributor? I was looking through these photos for a distributor name, but I didn't find any images of that particular booth.
