Hysol 9460, Half the price of 9462 just as good if not better

For people using hysol 9462, I would recommend trying Hysol 9460.
It has very similar properties, dries faster and is rated for higher shear strength.

The best part is that a 200ML bottle sells for about $35.00 vs the $17.00 50ML cartridge that the Hysol 9462 does.

It is dark grey in color vs the off white but can be painted and sanded just as easily.

here is a place that sells them online: http://www.skygeek.com/henkel-hysol-...-cq-83128.html

if ordering from skygeek, make sure to let them know you need new stock, with a full stated shelf life (the ones I ordered had about a year left vs the 3 year new stock has)

Cool I wanted to get some e-20 but would need to get a different gun :/ Good to have for field repairs as it dries very fast.

NOTE it is half the strength of 9460 though

E-120 is 4300 PSI versus the 3300 for the 9460

I like the 120 best because it has a 2 hour cure time. Obviously, it is not for field repairs.

The Loctite sales engineer sampled me this 3035 for "low surface energy" plastics like HDPE, and PVC. Almost nothing sticks well polyethylene or PVC, but this stuff works great!

sorry to go off subject, what glue would you recommend to glue a plastic pick up sensor to the end of the crankcase on a DA 120?
This is not for the actual pickup, just something to test to see if I can get an RPM reading with.

Would Hysol work?

I would tap the case and screw it in, that or glue a piece of metal with jb weld and screw the peice of plastic onto the metal.

I would use Loctite epoxy for plastic for that.

Doesn't the DA120 already have a second set of tapped hole opposite the sensor mounting holes like many if the DA twins have ?
