JOK - Jets Over Kentucky

I can say with confidence now, that I have been to my FIRST Jet event! I'm in Lebanon, tucked into the rolling hills of Kentucky at the Jets Over Kentucky event! This is the 13th year this event/show has been done.

I saw familiar faces and made new friends. Most importantly I breathed in a lot of jet fuel! This is way different than a plane event! Here's a Corsica. It took 10 years and $100,000 to build. And this is his everyday flyer!

I also met the lovely Kelley Zuber and got a pic of her with her jet! If it wasn't so hot, I'd be out here all day long, and I almost was. After the sun starts to set, out comes the "Parade of Lights" and then fireworks!

This event has it all, including over 150 plus registered pilots! Holy Moly! I'm still taking all of this in. I'll be back tomorrow for demos and pilot meet and greets. Stay Tuned!

Very nice thank you.

What are those "model aviation tools" stands that I see in some of the earlier pics and where can I get them?

I was told that a number of the jets would be using the revised Spektrum Powersafe telemetry receivers. Can anyone confirm?

Great pics!

Anyone know where that amazing cradle shown in the first group of pics comes from? There's two pictures , one with what looks like an orange M 346 (and Ashley) and one with a yellow Hawk.

I did not get an answer yet here but from an other thread where I asked:

I guess I will try contacting him once the meet is over.
