New Giant Scale Servo - MKS HV777A+

A Beast-Mode 777 in a Compact Case

Thomas at MKS Servos USA wanted to get the word out about a new servo that just hit the market. The HV777A+ builds on the original HV777 with increased torque in a slightly more compact design. The HV777A+ case dimensions have been reduced to 40X20X40 mm (1.57x0.97x1.57 in), down from the original HV777 dimensions of 40X20X45 mm (1.57x0.97x1.77 in).

The weight of the HV777A+ is 75.45 grams, down from 81.4 grams of the HV777. The HV777A+ retails for $114.99, and is currently shipping from MKS Servos USA.

Just tested my first set yesterday......all I can say is WOW. I've got at least three dozen 777's in other planes and the 777A+ does not disappoint!

I've been reluctant to try new servos. Some of them look great from the specs but there is no service available for them. Does MKS offer service/repair in the US?

Why yes they do, as a matter of fact there is a link up there in the article about this servo: http://www.mksservosusa.com/home.php?cat=3

It's not a brand new manufacturer, it's a new or newly updated servo stemming off of the 777 which is a well proven extremely reliable servo.
