Extreme Flight 104" Extra 300 EXP Version 2

We have now had a couple of months to dial in the new V2 104" Extra from EF. I am very happy with this one and I am confident that a lot of different people with different flying styles will like this one! For years, the 104" Extra has been an extremely popular choice in several different competitions and has won some of the most prestige freestyle contests in the world. It is now back and better than ever. It is a lot lighter than the version 1, faster roll rate, and even more stable in precision and 3D. Everything you would expect from a new era XA airframe. It's even topped off with the beautiful color scheme that is flown by Jim Bourke in the full scale aerobatic scene. Thanks to Jim for allowing this to happen. Here is the setup:

DA-120 with stock mufflers
MKS HBL380 servos with MKS HV1250 throttle servo
Falcon 28x9.5 prop
Pulse 2S 2550mah RX packs
Spektrum DX-20
Spektrum 12-Channel DSMX Powersafe RX
Powerbox Spark Switch
EF 5" Spinner
EF Flowmaster fuel tank

Here is some video along with pictures. Feel free to ask questions and I will keep posting here with any updates in the future as we get closer to production

Extreme Flight 104" Extra 300 EXP V2 (12 min 23 sec)

I may have missed it. Is there an ETA for the production version? Next spring some time?

Jase I see you've switched from the 27x11 to the 28x9.5. What difference do you find between the two?

Great flying Jase! I would love to see less rolling out of so many tricks. I want to see if the plane has any bad tendencies and the immediate rolling hides all of that.

That's just the flying style. If the airplane had bad tendencies, you would be able to tell in a lot of those maneuvers

Very impressive.

I noticed the lack of SFGs. Are none planned/needed? I’m glad to see that the plane didn’t use them. I’ve never liked the look or the hassle of putting them on.
