Looks nice. According to the reviews Mike Williams has one. Maybe he can chime in.

I sent him a msg if the weights are correct this would be a great motor for the larger 35-40cc planes from extremeflight, imagine a 50 twin at just a bit more weight than a 35/40

I have a GP Ultimate that needs assembled. Been thinking a 50cc twin would be the perfect match for that plane. Might get to find out. Maybe Mike would let me borrow his.

I have several RCGF engine's from the 15cc to the 60 twin, but not the 50 twin, and they are all at the mfg's specs. I see no reason the 50 twin would not be.

I briefly had a v1 model but sold it before I put it on a plane. The 50cc looks nice but if it swings a 20x10 I’d wonder why the VV/RCGF 40cc seems to be as or more powerful. My VV/RCGF spins a VV 21x8 at 7300 rpm - I would hope the 50cc would be have more umph. I also have the new version 60cc twin from RCGF - still have yet to fly it yet though. I look forward to seeing some numbers from users here.

A flying friend has three or four of these engines. He bought two RCGF 50 twins last year but had problems with both of them. He and others tried various tuning. He changed out ignitions, switches, fuel system, carbs, timing, you name it, nothing worked.

I am guessing they were version 1 engines, but I don't know for sure. The engines would not run worthwhile at all. He did everything, even sent one to VV, but it was the same when it came back from them. Poor man was ready to toss them both in the trash.

Finally he contacted RCGF and while on the phone RCGF said it was a prop hub issue, send it in and they will take care of it. He then sent both of them in to RCGF and they apparently put new hubs on the engine, or turned down the hubs.

It was hard to tell when looking at the engine, but the hubs seemed sized differently. It was a frustrating journey, but he has since flown one of the engines and it performs good.

My guess is this V2 is probably the "fixed" engines.

How are the ignitions holding up?
I wonder if a rcexl ignition would work on the 30t.

Full disclosure, I do not use RCGF ignitions. When I ordered my engines from IBCINYOURC.com, I asked Mike to sell me the engines with RCEXL igntions, he gladly did.

I never had any crank twist from a DLE. where 1 piston doesn't come up at the same time.
Can you get us a weight on the 50t, I want to know if it is as lite as advertised
