Carden 260

This Carden 260 was originally built by Ken McGuire, who was extremely active and successful in IMAC at the top level. He crashed it right before the NATS, gave the airplane to Mike Hubbard and Krazy Karl rebuilt it – he is the guy who did a 50% exact scale Pitts build – very talented builder. Mike flew it in unlimited and invitational for a few years and then sold it to Keith Sessions for his son Alex Sessions. We were fortunate to pick it up from Keith and it’s provided a great start for me in IMAC. It flies great on a DA150. It’s not as powerful as a DA200 in a Carden Pro, but it’s also missing another 0 on the end of the price tag. All linkages/hardware included for a quick Futaba setup. The 260 still flies great, is very straight, and since I’m sponsored by AJ Aircraft have chosen to fly their big Laser 230Z. Stab and wing bags by Caroline included. (DOES NOT INCLUDE MOTOR, RECEIVER, SERVOS, OR RADIO!! Do not know why that is attached to the image.)

I would guess around 10 years. Crash damage can only be identified by looking inside the fuse. The repair work is so masterful you really have to look for it. The airplane is extremely straight. We played with a number of exhaust set ups and both the standard and light 150. Weight was always around 38 pounds.
