I know cross-posting WITHIN a forum is bad juju and some would say the same is true for cross-posting BETWEEN forums, which I often do with threads I have started... like this one.

My intent is to reach different audiences, though there may be some who see the message multiple times because they belong to the same forums I do. I believe that most people who see my messages see them on only one forum.

So, thoughts? Hopefully we can have a rational discussion about this.
