Hopefully after all of the giant scale related programming issues i discovered and reported they fixed for the 20. The 12 had some good things about it but the slow boot up and the programming issues were too much for me and I had to get rid of it

I saw a photo of Ali flying his giant F-86 with the radio at FDL. This would not happen unless he had 100% confidence in the system.
I have never had an issue with my iX12, which is one of the beta test models. So I have a lot of time on it. But I will admit it is slow to boot up. This is not an issue with the iX20.

That's good to hear. As long as they don't have and hopefully fixed the programming glitches on the 12, I might take a good look at it. I loved the feel of the 12 but there was to many limitations in programming and glitches that needed fixed for giant scale planes.

Bugs are constantly being fixed. Just like my IPhone, there are updates. This was also the case with the DX radios.

Dunno, I've only flown someone else 12, I never had a chance to really get to know one.

As for the 20, I've seen it in action a bit and was impressed with the interface speed.

when Android crashes you can still control your aircraft with its individual processor and by having confidence in spektrum protocol doesn't make it a perfect radio system for Android

Your iphone works perfect right out of the box unless you know many people that have had to send it in for service as people often do with the IX12

I don't know if HH makes your salary but you only show up in this kind of threads to convince new buyers how good the next radio is.

Now that the IX12 is almost discontinued you admit it's slow on boot up ??
if you would had said this at the beginning you would probably be a more credible man otherwise you only spread biased opinions.

I'm sure they are. In fact some of the bugs i found and reported did get fixed. Others did not with no ETA on the fix. It was like they never set up a 40% plane with mixes when they came up with the programming. Especially an IMAC plane. I was doing the same functions that my JR XG 11 did but i wanted to go back to Spektrum when JR was having it's issues and I've always like Spektrum. And still do.

haribo, I am not employed by Horizon Hobby. I have never been to a Horizon facility. I don't speak for Horizon Hobby. I am just a hobbyist in Arizona. I am on Team Horizon and I have had the opportunity to best test a couple of products.

I don't hide who I am. Not here to spread lies or to troll. I will just give my experience. How about you?

Well I think in almost all the products there's a ramp up learning curve, this system definitely will be improved and Im very sure will that the past issues will be solved, is the good think about Spektrum they are always trying new stuffs. I just bought the last of the regular DX20 and I´m very happy with it (used to fly with JR DSMX for the past 10 years) and this radio didn´t desapoint me, I would like to see what new feautures this IX20 will have, I´m sure it will suprise us!

haribo, ha, the trolling continues.

Wearing a Blue Shirt has been 5 of the best years in the hobby for me. I feel very lucky to be where I am in the hobby. Because of them and a very good friend I have been doing things in the hobby that I never could have imagined. But it isn't my job, it is my hobby.

I never said happy, you did. I was happy before the shirts, Orange and Blue. But I’m having more fun now. What I said is in the last 10 years I have done things in the hobby that I would have never been involved with without help.
