I cant be 100% sure as I dont have a set of Electrons to test. Its an 85 degree unit and the top of the oleo leg is a touch over 19mm diameter. Hope this helps? Regards Ali

Hi Ali, congratulations on the Oscar, it looks like the perfect choice for a new Warbird to the market and seems very well received!

Can you confirm that electric retracts will be developed for this ? Will they be Hangar 9 ones ?

The air retracts are the only thing stopping me ordering one now. Not keen on going back to air - it's 2019.

Many thanks

Thank you.

Robart currently have a wing and will be developing an electric retract system for this model.

Thanks for that Ali.

How wide is the cowl ? 70 twin might be on the cards...

Also is it possible to get a good pic of the internals, to get some space/layout ideas.

Cheers!

You are welcome.
The cowling is 10" Wide inside at the widest point where an engine would fit.

https://www.horizonhobby.com/pdf/HAN...nual-MULTI.pdf

Pages 30-32 show various photos of the inside that cover all of the internal area.

Hope this helps?

Regards Ali

Ali.

I see one of the 3 Oscars in the promo video has what appears to be an aluminum spinner?
Does the plane come with a plastic spinner?
Is the aluminum one avalable?

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi Dave,

I was trying the saito with a 3 blade prop, so needed a 3 bladed spinner to suit. It didn't work out well, so I went back to two blade.
The kit will come with a two bladed plastic spinner.
I sourced that spinner that I used from Steve at Bobs Hobby's in Florida. Hope this helps?
Regards Ali
