Ya know every time I see this kit, I'm tempted... Yours is an exceptional deal for this classic.

My problem is I already have 2 of these gems. I built the first one in 2001, and just this year started flying it in IMAC (it's the one in my Avatar pic). The second one was a rescue that's not yet complete so I'm just saving it for a rainy day.

Great flying planes, great for anyones favorite 50cc engine, all around excellent kits to build! I hope I'm not out of line with my comments, but I'm not kidding, mine has been one of the best planes I've ever owned, and has taken me a long way in this hobby.

Good luck with the sale, someone's going to get a very fun kit right there!

Oh yeah... must resist though. I'll give someone else a chance to get this cool classic!

Now someone buy this thing!! It's killin me!

Being a Mike McConville design, It's perfect for getting into larger scale planes, and very competition worthy. Just an all around great plane. I'll leave your thread alone, you'll sell it soon I'm sure.

Hello,

This kit never included the cowl or wheel pants. Instead, Midwest included a discount coupon for those items provided by Stan’s Fibertech. I’m not sure if their in business anymore. I do have a new uncut cowl from Fiberglass Specialties for an additional $40.00.

Thanks,

Patrick

Yep. The early flat-tail versions did have an ABS cowl(I still have 2 of those), but when they went to the more modern foiled-tail version, as this fine example is, they ditched the ABS stuff, so he's correct this kit didn't come with a cowl.

I never used the ABS cowl, it was junk, I don't think anyone used it. I did what Patrick did and just bought from Stan's, and Fiberglass Specialties.

So... buy this kit. It's a great deal!
