Carden Aircraft Press Release December 1, 2019

Carden Aircraft has been the leader in Giant Scale Aerobatic Aircraft for most of the last 30 years. We feel fortunate to have made so many friends throughout the hobby and industry over the years. We are also fortunate to have maintained a solid customer base through our quality line of kits, wing bags, and accessories. Thanks to every one of you for your support and friendship. We could not have done it without you!

Caroline and I finally decided to retire at 70 and enjoy life outside of the hobby industry. We want to assure all of our customers that the Carden Aircraft line will continue. We are passing the torch to a solid, reliable company that will continue to produce our aircraft and wing bags with the same standards that we have stood by for so many years.

We are very pleased to announce that the new owner, manufacturer, and distributor for the line of aircraft and wing bags will be KONISHI MOKEI CO., LTD., and DeeForce Aviation. They are a very special and reputable company with the same quality standards that we've had as our cornerstone since the very beginning.

Thanks again for your support, friendship and fond memories. Hope to see you at an RC event soon.

Dennis and Caroline Gergits - Carden Aircraft

Dennis,
I had a 118" Extra that I flew/competed with for over ELEVEN YEARS. Countless flights. Loved it.
Unfortunately, I lost it in a @#$% mid-air.
Thanks for marketing such a fine kit...

Truly the end of an era. Even if the Carden name continues, this is really hard to see them hand off production. Cheers to them for so many years of dedication to the hobby.

That’s great to hear things will continue! Thanks for some incredible airplanes over the years.

Any word on when parts like cowlings or canopies will be available?

This is great to hear it will continue, I guess the quesiton were all wonderin is what will the future hold.

Would be great for KONISHI MOKEI CO., LTD, DeeForce Aviation to chime in an give us a heading of where there going with things.

I for one would like to see the 100cc Edge 540 make a return for sure.

Yeah had a shot at a 100cc edge a few years back still in boxes. Passed on it thinking it was a lot of money for a few boxes of wood and foam. Really wish I had been smarter about it.
