Would like to see how this one measures up in a side by side comparison with a Bill Hempel 40% Super Cub.

Older DA150's sitting collecting dust would be ideal in this!

Will a waiver be required for that weight?

if it's over 55 with fuel, that would be a yes. Maybe Horizon could clarify. I would not see much of a market for a big ARF requiring a wavier.

Looks very nice. In the video, I only saw normal flap use. Are the flaps hinged so that you can make them full span ailerons as well, and do things like crow?

Or... a big ARF that wants to bust 400 feet just to fly.

Interesting to see this monster being offered at a time when 'biggy sized' aircraft seem less and less popular....would rather have them bring back the 46% Ultimate!
That being said IT IS FREAKIN' GORGEOUS...hope a few folks in the Chicago area pick one up and bring it to local events

43% based on the wing span. The full scale wing span is 388.8”

Bill I agree with you. Seems to be a bit off on the timing. Big stuff is on the decline and it looks like the big glider Horizon had that you could tow with this is discontinued. The airplane is gorgeous though and you cant go wrong with cubs! Also agree on the 40% ultimate. A re-release with a different color scheme would be awesome and probably sell just as well as anything else.
