how does this tool reach around the mufflers ? if the spark plug is in the head how does the removal tool work ?

There used to be a tool made used to adjust the gap of the ignition points in GM engines that was made of a flexible cable like extension with an allen tip that worked great.
maybe something like that would work in angled access applications. |

We tried it. Didn't work as well as we wanted it to. Discontinued it. Not to say we have not looked into again. But we are re visiting it's possibilities.
