All, It is with great sadness that I make this announcement. Due to the current state of COVID-19 on the rise in Houston County, GA. The Georgia Aircraft Modeler’s Association has made the decision to cancel the 2021 Southeastern Model Show. All funds received for the table space will be refunded as soon as possible. We will plan to continue the Southeastern Model Show in 2022 around the same time period. We do thank everyone for their support.
Sincerely Jim Parker 2021 SMS Coordinator Georgia Aircraft Modelers Association

This Covid 19 thing is not going away anytime soon.....it’s like the Flu and I know of no one this sacred of the Flu . This I am afraid is the New World we live in until ? I am scared that one day soon if there is an event of any kind and someone contracts Covid 19 and Unfortunately Dies the event Coordinators, Host, and Sponsors will be held liable.

Ouch...... actually it's so weird that just this morning I was thinking of trying to work out the trip to see if I could make it.

So sorry to see this event cancelled. Being in an "at risk" group it's understandable. If people would just do what they were taught in the 4th grade we would be fine.
Cover your mouth when you cough Wash your hands Don't get in someones personal space If your sick stay home Will miss seeing friends and deal making. Looking forward to 2022 event. Stay Well, Pete |

Part of me wonders the same thing but with the vaccination programs in full swing and the fact that Nall is mostly an outdoor event I think by May we will be fine. (My own thoughts, I'm not associated with Triple Tree)

When you guys have a loved one die... suffering alone in the hospital..
...you will change your tune and not treat this like such a joke. Its happened to my family - if it hasen't yet happened to you its only a matter of time right now given how bad the current surge is. ![]() |

Bad Decision in my opinion. If the State has not banned gatherings larger than x amount of people, let me decide if I want to go or not. Would have rather seen it rescheduled. Waiting for my refund...
