Last year, while I was waiting for the beech to arrive, I worked in a simple metal project,
downloaded some plans for a paper FW190, enlarged the size, print the parts, cut litho aluminum and made the plane. At that time there was a severe lockdown corona virus, and had no 2,4mm rivets, clecos, etc, so I just used some epoxy to hold the parts.

I marked all the false rivets with a wheel device used to mark when sewing.

It is not a proper metal rc plane, but just gave me some clues about what is like working with aluminum, cutting parts, bending parts, making a 3d shape from 2d parts.... I really recommend anyone interested in making the same step, just to feel it....

Did was nothing fancy, just a quick build to enjoy those lockdown days...

Hello!

I am still here! But this has been a difficult year for many years. The FW190 project is aside. I try to concentrate on finishing first the beachcraft. I live in a flat in Madrid, and all my planes and projects are 150km in a house in a small village where I have my workshop, and sometimes, I dont go there for one or two months. So projects that for others are fast, for me are years....
