its all right but its got its weird stuff like flying wires and flat glue in stabs. it does fly good but the new AW ultimate is huge compared to the beast.

It was a gift. I would have never thrown down for an ARF. Got a 42% Dalton 260, and a 35% Carden 540 to build. Think I'll flip a quarter to see which one gets built first. Heads...., 260, tails...., 540.

I saw the crow on the H9 video, not sure if it's really needed. Still looking forward to this bird. will be my first "ARF" gasser.
It's gonna be the "Dalton" 260 according to the coin toss.

good choice , the dalton has a proven record and should be easy to set-up. I want a this new plane for the spring/summer 2011 , this year its the Pilot 36% Sbach . been doing lots of shopping for servos and regs then decided dont need a reg if I get hitec 7950TH/wing-ele and 7980TH for the rudder all on 7.4V and Servo city has great prices

I've hear wonderful things regarding the "Sebach" as well as Pilot kits. I spoke to Planebender in great detail about pilot cause he's put so many of them together. He's got nothing but great things to say bout them. Good luck on your build.
Safe to say, you'll have a riot flying that bird!!!

Thanks for the invite airboss . I fly Whittier Narrows and Camp Pendelton. I'm a current member of SGVRCL, the club that flies @ Whittier. Great bunch of fellas. Would love to take you up on your offer. If the rain stops any time soon, we here in So Cal might actually get to fly.
PM me and we could exchange email addresses.

Who needs two wings, planes fly just fine with one. LOL
The set up time at the field and disassemble at the end of the day, just more than what I want to do. Remember last one to leave,, got to lock the gate. LOL

sign the gatekeeper

All depends on the plane. My PAU 100cc Biplane takes 8 screws to hold in the cabanes (including the flying wires). No hatch to put on and only 2 screws in the bottom of the wing. Total extra time at the field is about 3mins.

Oh and its not overweight and will 3D like crazy. Biplanes are like a fetish. You either like em or you don't.

Re: Blog this !

I wait with anticipation for the arrival of my "BEAST"!
Being my first bipe, and ARF..., only time will tell how I like it.
I can only hope the quality is as good as my current birds that I built. If not..., I'm gonna beat the BEAST relentlesly!!! I will not let up. It's gonna be fun fun fun....! Not to mention many gallons of 100LL.
Yeee Haaaa......!

Next time you see a picture of this, maybe It will be in a hover,
The only scare s on Jenny are from a shipping wound caused by "UPS aka United Plane Smashers"
They stepped on the wing box with an elephant ,and broke the wings in half.and made a big hole in on of them.
So I glass and carbon rod repaiered them back together, rrbiult three ribs and reskined the bottom wing,, It has an OS BGX1 3500 it dont belive it suficent for 3 d flying. So its getting the new saito 57t soon, she llhover with that for power
no problem.

Bipes are way COOL

set up time is not an issue unless my back hurts

the beast has glued in stabs and flying wires

PAU ultimate is another nice bipe

we want to see that plane hover

today my pit pal decided to launch my hotliner AT the runway instead of the usual 45 deg up angle

merry christmas everyone
