Well the weather is turning back warm , I finally got my parts back from the paint shop, engine cowl, canopy, landing gear and wheel pants, its only been two months, and still there are mistake with it, but at this point, I don't care , I just want to put it back together and fly it , the days are getting longer, still need to find time to finish up the 33% Great Planes Extra 330 kit built model, its about 95% finish, but when its warm out and the winds are down, Im gone, heading to my home flying field

I just got my kit delivered yesterday. Sure is big! What engine are you running in yours? Did you do the build? Any words of wisdom are welcome before I start the build.

Did you have an automotive paint shop spray it? What mistakes did they make? It looks good from here. I'd love to see more pictures.

4O% Robert Godfrey

Hey, go luck on your kit, I hope its a Robert Godfrey kit, it would go together a lot quicker, but if not its still cool to have a big bird, my planee has a wing span 125.5'', Im running a DA 150 on stock muffler, reciever a AR9100, servo are Hi-tec HS7954 on 6 volts, running 3 A123 races battery, at 4500 mah each. and 3 Jr match box, 32 x 12 NX prop, with a Sd 5'' spinner, fly like its on rails, and its made in the USA , not no cheap china made model , and you can get replacement parts for it !!!!!!. there are two build thread on this Godfrey model under Giant scale, go to build thread, you will see godfrey, and then go to about page 6 or 7 you will see another thread on the Godfrey, Happy building, the paint shop, its another problem, I will buy me a paint gun and do it myself next.
