FUTABA 18MZ first Photos

From the Hobby Show in Shizuoka this weekend. Looks a lot like the 14MZ TX with a built-in antenna/RF module and a new screen layout and color. I am sure more info will follow.

I think that is a given. But probably not in the next couple of weeks.

Futaba has gotten better about having things ready to sell before showing them. The 14MZ was several months out before it went on sale. But the newer radios are generally read for sale very soon after first being seen.

Indeed. OS also has electric motors on the way. Futaba is also getting some new HV servos and other cool stuff. There is even a 2S LiFePO4 RX pack shown on their Japanese website.

Mith - take a look in some of the photos. You can see a receiver in some of them.

I bet you can run a flight simulator on that screen. No need for a computer.

Looks awesome but I have no need for a lot of that stuff.

I did not "need" everything the 14MZ had to offer, but now that I have one I cannot imagine not owning it!!

We should just cut and paste all the posts about the 14MZ when it was announced, save ourselves some time.
