There were a lot of questions on the correct criteria for maneuvers at the contest last weekend. Attending a Judging School for a weekend to learn the criteria will do more to increase your scores than continuing to practice your mistakes for another weekend.

Hope to see everyone there.

Just a reminder for the Southwest IMAC pilots. A Judging school is only a few weeks/days away. This is a good opportunity to revisit judging criteria and debate the different families in Aresti and listen to and discuss as others throw out situations they have observed or experienced!
gb
Plus! It's a fun, no pressure weekend!

A stick plane is always good for judging discussions.

Yes!! We need a demo pilot for Sunday morning. We'll have a whole bunch of newly trained judges that can help you remove deductions from your flight!!

Any chance one of the "experienced" pilots can go over some of the basic airframe and radio setup tips?

May 4 - Flying Demonstration - 10:00AM to 1:00 PM at the Riverside RC Club, Perris, CA
Directions: From the 215 take the 4th Ave off ramp and head east to the field.

I think we'll have plenty of time to discuss whatever the attendees would like.

You guys should come up to the Full Scale Contest in Apple Valley that weekend and have the Judges School there. I will be flying my first contest in Advanced in my new plane. Just saying it might be a great way to see a full scale competition and connect with the Full Scale Group. I could use a cheering section for sure.

Nice color scheme. I did the Brian Howard scheme on an Aero-Works 300L a several years back.
